TERMITE SWARMING SEASON IS HERE!
At about the same time each year, the Drywood Termites swarm and re-infest to start new colonies. A common misconception is that during the Drywood Termites swarming periods, the alates, or winged termites (Swarmers) fly from one area to another.
In fact, they transport themselves through thermal guidance provided by prevailing air currents. This explains why existing colonies will swarm and re-infest the immediate areas or tend to relocate in the same susceptible areas of adjoining exterior common area structures.
It is imperative, once Drywood Termites are identified, to perform localized treatments before termites are permitted to swarm to adjoining structures and complete their annual reproductive cycle.
By performing treatments before termites are permitted to swarm and re-infest, we have provided the most effective treatment possible by controlling termite infestations where they are originally identified.
